Sometimes even the simple things aren't simple. Changing the oil should be quick and easy. But with the the 944, there is NOTHING simple. That oil filter might look like its' in a handy spot but if it happens to be stuck, it can be a real bear to get a good grip on. Over the years I've bought every tool that promises to do the job, some do work or at least with some brands of filter. Some work well in my other cars but not this one. Finally I found this tool, and for 944 guys, this one is worthy. Its simple, reliable and inexpensive.
