Changing a 944 clutch is a big job. There are so many little things that block your success. One of them is getting the fork pin out of the clutch housing. We designed a simple tool specifically for the DIY'er who is doing this on jackstands (a situation where a slide hammer is too long to use).
To use the tool, remove the pin's anchor bolt and thread the jackscrew into the end of the pin. Rotate the tools body so the small hole aligns with the anchor bolt hole (this ensures a straight pull of the pin) and tighten up the nut. This tool will easily draw out the pin and save you one of the little head aches of the 944 clutch.
Note: there are no printed instructions included with this tool.
