I've had some success in fabricating and selling these specialty tools. I steadily look for ways to make these tools better and have completed several revisions aimed at making them stronger and more durable. This is possible because a lot of Porsche owners have given me their orders. Why would people choose to buy from me (a small business) rather than from the large, after-market parts houses? I think maybe its because I'm approaching this Porsche project like many of my customers - on a budget but still trying to do things to the best of my ability.
ArnnWorx.com is a means for me to sell my few products, express a few ideas and contribute a little help to budget minded Porsche owners.
To do that, I WILL:
make the best product that I can but only if it can be done for a reasonable price.
treat people the way I want them to treat me.
try to apply my ideas, insights & energy to making income while at the same time doing what I do - tinkering.
I will Not:
openly "pimp" my few products by trying to draw attention to myself in discussion forums.
make ridiculous product performance claims.
tack on obscured shipping & handling costs.
send along spam or special offers of any kind - if you hear from me again, it will only be to respond to your email.
pass along your email address to anyone - not affiliates, not associates, nobody, nada, zippo.
I say all of this because if you're buying, you should know a little about who you're dealing with. ....Bruce Arnn
The shopping cart that I use is provided by PayPal. I can also take your credit card number directly, but I do not have a form on my website to accept your CC number. This is because my site is not secure enough to hold this information. If you would like to place an order and use your credit card, contact me via email and I will provide and emailed invoice that can use to access a secure site and complete the sale. See more info on ProPay below.
One other note about the shopping cart - It is meant for USA customers. It will not always correctly include the amount needed for shipping to a foreign address. Foreign customers - please read How I Handle Foreign Shipments (below).
Payments come to me by one of three ways
PayPal - All of the shopping cart items above are charged through PayPal. Using the shopping cart provides the quickest delivery. If you're not a PayPal member you can still use the shopping cart and follow the prompts to set up a PayPal account (and pay with your credit card or even a e-check); or you may choose to pay by an other means. I pay the charges associated with using the PayPal shopping cart.
ProPay - If you're reluctant to use Paypal, then you can drop me an email, letting me know which items you would like and I can arrange to either take your credit card info directly or (better) via a Propay invoice sent to your email. With that invoice, you can link into Propay's secure website and authorize a charge on your visa or master charge card. No registrations, no hassles and I won't have access to any your information other shipping address.
Check, Money Order - You can also pay me directly, just mail a check or money order to me and indicate which item(s) you would like. Please provide a shipping address and an email address, so that I can reach you in the event of some sort of problem. All payments must clear before I ship the item though. My address is: Bruce Arnn, 6645 St Johns Lane, House Springs, MO 63051, USA.
Most of my USA shipments are made via USPS Priority mail. It costs a little more than standard mail but the US Post Office provides free packing materials (which are otherwise expensive) and tracking. My shipping charge is very nearly what the post office charges me. For instance a 1 pound package, costing $4.05 will cost you $4.00. Keep in mind that my shopping cart is not sophisticated enough to adjust for weights so there is some rounding of values. All of my shipments go out without "Signature required upon delivery." Almost all of the time, this is what people want but if you want to sign for the delivery I will include that and any insurance that you would like to have. Just email me with the request and I will make the arrangements. I also provide tracking of USPS shipments (valued at over $25) via the USPS.com tracking system, this is free (to you). The tracking number is available via email request and USPSl.com should forward a notification to your email address.
I will ship to countries outside of the US. Unfortunately, my shopping cart is not geared for the higher shipping cost and so I must calculate the shipping manually. For this, you must contact me (BruceArnn@Arnnworx.com), with your address and what you would like to purchase. I will then get the shipping cost together and with your approval, arrange for a shipping date. My foreign shipping rate is simply what is charged me when the parcel is posted. Typically, air mail shipments of a tool set will cost about $40.00 to countries like Australia, England or Spain. The US postal Service website, it has a "Calculate Postage" tab that can help you to know how much shipping would cost to your address. For most of my tools I use the medium flat rate box.
If you place an order with me and, and for whatever reason, I cannot ship the item immediately (this means within 4 mailing days from the time I have confirmed payment), I will do one of 2 things:
On kits or orders of multiple items, I will ship those parts that I have ready and follow with a second shipment within a few days. If I expect that second shipment to be more than a week, I will contact you and explain the situation, advising you of when I can make the shipment. You may then either elect to accept the delay or cancel the order.
On single items, I will contact you and explain the situation and advise you of the expected shipping date. You may then elect to cancel the order.
If you do cancel, your only obligation is to advise me of that cancellation prior to the shipping date.
Most of my orders ship on the 3rd day after the order. Occasionally, people request (via email) rush orders and many times I am able to help with a quick run to the Post Office. There is no extra charge for this.
I make refinements to my tools from time to time. Usually this is because I'm trying to find an easier or stronger method to produce or improve the tool. I try to immediately update the photos in this website so that you're seeing exactly what you're buying. Please study these photos closely I'd much rather you did not buy from me than be disappointed.
Now with all of the business details out of the way, I can say that I try to avoid long-winded explanations. So, I have created the remainder of this web with a high ratio of pictures to words. The downside is, of course, that they are slow to load. ...Patience, Grasshoppah.
Like most of you, I cannot spend all of my
time with a Porsche. I have a day job that takes most of my time. Due to the
military nature of this work, I cannot have a cell phone with me and it is
therefore difficult to reach me by phone

me if you contact me via email.
