Here's a tool that you'll need to ensure your cams are in time. This is my version of Porsche's P207. This simple tool mounts to your air cooled engine heads (either side) and is then positioned to measure valve travel. These measurements are then be used to know that your cams are correctly positioned for safe operation and peak power.

Included with the tool is machinist gauge, a gauge holder, a spacer and a short extension pin. Unlike some of the "Z-block" tools, this tool will work on even the wildest cams.
